We’re Thunderheads, and we’re on a mission to make it fun, exciting and memorable to explore the weather, the climate and the Earth.

Our adorable sustainably-crafted plushies help people of all ages connect with the environment, enjoy nature in new ways, understand extreme weather and learn about climate change. With Thunderheads, you discover why polar ice is melting, what makes a volcano erupt, and how the ground shakes.

All Thunderheads are sewn and crafted using recycled fibers that meet Global Recycling Standards. Our educational cards and materials are printed from recycled paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. With embroidered eyes and the highest quality soft durable plush materials, Thunderheads meet and surpass US and European safety standards.

So many of us are fascinated by the weather. Our unique learning tools are an engaging and hands-on way to get people thinking about the ever-changing sky and Earth. Thunderheads also help illustrate the differences between the weather and the climate.

Today, it is as clear as a blue-sky day that the climate is changing. We pledge to donate a portion of Thunderheads sales to non-profit organizations that protect the environment and assist communities dealing with extreme weather events. Thunderheads will also be partnering with charities, schools, and companies dedicated to mitigating climate change.
